Beacons of Hope Campaign at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School

Posted On Wednesday February 12, 2025
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School is proud to introduce our Beacon of Hope Campaign—bringing us together to support one another, strengthen our community, and shine as a light for each other.

Being a Beacon of Hope means making a positive impact in the lives of others. It’s about spreading kindness, offering support, and lifting people up when they need it most. In a world that can sometimes feel overwhelming, choosing to be a source of hope creates a ripple effect—one act of compassion can inspire many more.

Students will be nominated by their teachers and staff when they demonstrate acts of "hope" toward others. Each week, staff will submit their nomination slips to the office and "hope beads" will be filled out to represent these acts, displayed around the school, and connected to the Beacons of Hope Bracelet in the front foyer. The nomination slips will then be sent home with the students, allowing families to celebrate these positive actions together at home.

The goal of this initiative is to inspire hope, support, and positivity throughout our school. We are confident that together, we can make a lasting impact, helping each other grow stronger and more united. This campaign will not only benefit our school but will also set an example for others to follow.
We look forward to all the ways we can collaborate, celebrate, and make a difference through this journey.
