Holy Eucharist Retreat for Grade Two Students at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School

Posted On Friday March 23, 2018

Grade 2 students at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School were blessed this week by participating in a very special morning at St. Philip’s Catholic Church.  Under the guidance of Ms. Marcoccia, the Chaplain from Monsignor John Pereyma Catholic School, students in grade two  enjoyed a retreat that focused on the importance of the sacrament of Holy Eucharist.  The grade twos were led through different activities by the Faith Team from Monsignor Pereyma, a group of grade 12 students who were specially trained to work with young children preparing to receive a sacrament.  We want to thank Ms. Marcoccia and her team for all the work they did preparing this wonderful retreat and a special thank you to Father Keith for being with us for the morning.  His presence always gives the students great comfort.
