St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School Opens a Naturalized Playground

Students are enjoying the fruits of their labour and hard work as the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic school communitywe opened its brand new naturalized playground this week.  Many, many thanks to Mrs. Harvey, previous Principal at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School, for planning and organizing this tremendous project. And to the families of St. Thomas Aquinas who put so much time and effort into fundraising to ensure this playground would come to fruition. 

Students are loving the space and the eco-friendly and natural materials in this space line up perfectly with the focus on eco-friendly practices that St. Thomas Aquinas values so strongly.  Thanks to Mrs. Fredericks as she has worked hard to be sure that the students are safely using the playground – and for extra maintenance work too!

We will enjoy this wonderful playground for many years to come!
