St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School Welcomes Canadian Author, Mr. Di Lisi

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School welcomed one of our amazing Canadian authors, Mr. Peter Di Lisi to our Learning Commons this week.  Author of many wonderful children’s books – ‘Chico and the Challenging Tree’ and ‘Hugs’ to name two, Mr. Di Lisi provided our students with a snapshot into the world of a working writer.  His stories are engaging and fun, yet come with the important message of trying hard to push through obstacles in your life to reach your goals.  He himself has learned how to do many things in life by sheer determination and a love of learning, especially magic!  Students were in awe of the magic that he shared with them today.  We want to thank Mr. Di Lisi for sharing his talents with us  - he is a writer and magician that inspires us to face our own ‘challenging tree’ by believing in our ability to reach the goals we set for ourselves.
